Moving day and beyond

We endeavour to make life as easy as we can for our new home buyers, from the moment you buy the house, to the day you move in and beyond.  We pride ourselves on providing a high quality specification in our homes which will keep maintenance and related costs to a minimum and provide you with peace of mind for as long as possible.  For example:

  • Our most important consideration is honest and effective communication with you, the homebuyer.  We can maintain direct contact with you throughout the building and sales processes so you are kept fully informed about progress, and would welcome you on site to view the progress yourself..
  • All the appliances which are included in the kitchen/utility rooms will be as energy efficient as we can find and all are fully tested before we hand them over to you.
  • Lighting will be energy efficient with long lasting, low energy bulbs. 
  • Whenever possible we utilise a renewable energy source for heating, which will be run from an Economy 10 or Economy 18 metre (dependent upon availability in the area).  This means that your ongoing electricity costs will be considerably reduced.  For more information on the renewable energy system installed at the Swan Bridge View development, please click here
  • Your new home can as an option be pre-wired for an impressive in-built sound system, offering controllable audio or TV throughout the house.  For more information on this, please click here. 
  • We finish the interior walls with several coats of paint, ensuring a superior and very durable finish which you will not need to repaint for several years.  
  • On moving day we will be on hand to check everything is to your satisfaction, and to make a further appointment to return and explain in detail how everything works - the burglar alarm, heating system and kitchen appliances.  We find it is too much to take in on the day you move in.
  • It is important to us that you are happy in your new home, and we remain at your disposal even after you have moved in, to answer any concerns you may have.
  • 6 months later we will contact you to arrange for our finishing team to return to address any settlement or shrinkage issues associated with a newly built property.  This service is carried out at our discretion.
